Energy Systems Minor
The Energy Systems Minor, offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, covers basic theory and applications related to energy systems, including both conventional systems and alternative energy resources. The minor covers analysis and design of energy systems including thermal management and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). Focus areas include energy management in manufacturing facilities and HVAC in commercial buildings. Students also choose technical electives that span other contemporary topics in energy systems.
